Privacy policy
Last updated: October 1, 2026
This policy explains what data Zertyzzle uses, why, who it is shared with, and how you stay in control of it.
Who we are
Zertyzzle is published by Certyneo SASU (RCS Nanterre 105 648 703), 14 rue Beffroy, 92200 Neuilly-sur-Seine, France. We are the controller of your data.
For any question or request: games@djoox.com.
The data we use
- Account: a technical identifier created automatically (guest account). If you link your account: your email address, or your Google or Apple identifier and the associated email.
- Public profile: the nickname and avatar you choose, visible to other players in the rankings. The frame and name colour you choose are visible in the same way.
- Friends: your friend code, the list of friends you add and, if a friend invited you, the referral link. Your friends see your nickname, avatar, league, weekly score, level and stars. If you play with them: your duels (scores and moves, to check the scores), your team, its emojis and your weekly points, cards given and received, and your endless-mode record (shown on its leaderboard).
- Game: progress, stars, scores, the moves of your weekly challenge games (to verify scores), season points, items earned and the status of your season pass. Payments go through Google Play or the App Store: we only receive the purchase reference, never your payment details. For purchases and the Club subscription, we keep the product bought, the subscription end date and the receipt status (valid or refunded).
- Advertising: the device's advertising ID, IP address and technical information, used by Google AdMob to show ads.
- Diagnostics: error reports (device model, Android and app versions, screens visited just before the error, technical account identifier), without email or nickname.
- Reminders: if you accept them, your device's notification identifier and your language, to send you a few reminders (a friend passed you, league results, events). It is deleted if you turn reminders off.
- On your device only: your settings and the daily reminder, scheduled locally.
Why we use it
- To run the game: saves, rankings, weekly challenge, seasons (performance of the service you use).
- To verify scores and prevent cheating, so rankings stay fair (legitimate interest).
- To fund the free game with ads. Ads are only personalised with your consent, asked at first launch and changeable at any time in Settings > Ad privacy. Without consent, Google only shows non-personalised or limited ads.
- To detect and fix bugs (legitimate interest).
- To email you sign-in codes, and nothing else.
Who it is shared with
We never sell your data. It is only entrusted to the providers the game needs:
- The game servers: our own servers, located in the European Union.
- Google: advertising (AdMob), purchases and Google sign-in (Google Play).
- Apple: purchases on iPhone (App Store) and Sign in with Apple, if you choose it.
- Google (Firebase) and Apple: delivering reminders to your phone, if you accept them.
- Sentry: receiving error reports.
- Our email provider: sign-in codes.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union, notably in the United States. These transfers are covered by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Account, profile and game data: as long as your account exists. When you delete it, they are erased from our servers immediately, then from our backups within 14 days.
- Error reports: 90 days at most.
- Advertising data: according to Google's rules, described in its own privacy policy.
Your rights
You can access your data, correct it, have it erased, get a copy of it, object to certain uses or ask for them to be restricted, and withdraw your consent at any time.
- Delete your account: directly in the app, My profile > Delete my account. Everything is erased immediately.
- Without the app: write to games@djoox.com from the address linked to your account and we will delete it within 30 days.
- Personalised ads: Settings > Ad privacy.
If you believe your rights are not respected, you can complain to your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL: www.cnil.fr).
Minimum age
Zertyzzle is intended for people aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from younger children.
If you are under the age of digital consent in your country (15 in France), ask a parent before accepting personalised ads, or simply decline them: the game works exactly the same.
Security
Traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS). Server access is restricted to the team that runs them, and each player can only read and change their own data.
Changes
If this policy changes significantly, we will let you know in the app before the changes apply.
